8 Ways To Work Smart and Save Time

Maximize your productivity not by working hard but by working smart. Never have this as a routine, moving from the desktop walk in between answering phone calls from friends and still haven’t completed any work. If this was your routine, change your mind try to manage your time effectively. Managing time is not only on planning & organizing it is all about the amount of time taken to achieve the activity and to reach the goal in given time.

To Do List and Reminders:

Manage the time by listing the task what need to be done on timely basis. Preparing a list based on priority is most important. There are chances where you might be lost in discussions chances to forget things  because of too many works so set reminders which alarm you when you are busy.

Plan the Action:

It is nothing but sequence of steps taken to reach the goal. It takes just 10 minutes to plan an action for the day. Plan the goal by breaking them into small realistic actions. Planning must be simple and achievable.

Avoid Distraction at Work:

If you are working in office environment there will be noise around with minimal distraction. Some people have a habit of listening to music during work time it helps to distract them from all the other noises helps to stay focussed in their work. Identify your distractions avoid long conversation on phones, surfing the web beyond usual, other employee disturbance.

Have a Break:

Taking break is the time to relax and an opportunity to rejuvenate ourself. Always remember to have a small walk every hour between work drink some water. Many people work on during lunch time to gain extra hour but it’s always essential to have 30 minutes break for lunch. It’s an opportunity to relax and think of something else other than work. Then you are back to the desk with new set of eyes it helps you to stay focused.

Deadlines:

Organize all the work as a team make sure that your team is aware of deadlines. Always create deadlines for your plan and see that you complete the task at time.

Exercise :

Reality is that we sit too much and strain back muscles and cause abnormal curves in the spine, more risk of leg swelling and blood clots in our legs. To avoid all this have a walk get up from your desktop every one hour in between do the breathing exercise.

Sleeping Time:

It’s important to sleep at least 7- 8 hours every night. It helps you to stay energetic, think clearly and work effectively.

Reward the Progress:

Take to celebrate and reward yourself from time to time. If you have been working entire week, should have taken a week off. If you are working with a project for months, have a trip relax yourself.

Don’t spend more time, Do smart work only.
